Yammani: Hi, my name is Yammani.

Lizet: And I'm Lizet.

Yammani: And we're both sophomores here at FDU. I'm a nursing major.

Lizet: I'm a mechanical engineering major.

Yammani: And we're so excited to be on this tour with you.

Lizet: Let's go!

Yammani: So right behind me is the Bogota Savings Bank Center. This is where all our D1 athletics, games, and practices are held, as well as our career fair where you can have job opportunities and internships available for you. And if you attend our open house, then this is where we would greet you.

Lizet: Right behind me is Dickinson Hall. On our first floor, we have our Wilson Auditorium, which has a bunch of events throughout the academic year. And then we also have Dickinson Hall Cafe, which is a to-go style of eating. We have our Starbucks, cold sandwiches, and cold salads to grab in between classes. On our second floor, we have our academic departments such as Business and Hospitality. On our third floor, we have our Undergraduate Admissions Office and other important offices. On our fourth floor, we have our College of Allied Health and Nursing. And then on the fifth floor, we have our science laboratories.

Yammani: Our next stop on the tour is our famous footbridge. So our campus is actually divided by the Hackensack River. We have our Hackensack side of campus and our Teaneck side of campus. So students come here just to pass by between classes, hang out, chill, even do their homework, or even take some sunset pictures if they wanted.

Lizet: Welcome to our Northpointe Residence Hall, which is reserved for the upperclassmen and is a hotel style of living, meaning that you share the room with one other person and you get your own private bathroom. On each floor, there are lounge areas and also there are laundry rooms on each floor. On the third floor, we have our kitchenette, and on our fourth floor, we have our 24-hour quiet hours.

Lizet: This is our world peace sign, which is gifted by an FDU alum, and a bunch of students rub it here during exam season for good luck.

Yammani: This is Robison Hall. This is a huge student services hub. Here you can find academic advising, tutoring, Hispanic services, disability, and I'm probably missing one more, but you can actually come and check it out yourself.

Yammani: So right behind me is the Kron building. This is where our enrollment services and financial aid office are housed. If you have any questions regarding your award package, payment options, as well as adding or dropping classes, this is the place that's going to be most helpful for you and your family.

Lizet: Right now, we are inside of Alumni Hall, which is home to our FDU campus bookstore, where you can buy textbooks that you might need for classes. You can also buy apparel to show off your FDU swag. Downstairs on our lower level, we have what's our second dining option on campus, which is The Bridge Café. It is really a sit-down restaurant style. We have warm bowls, smoothies, flatbreads, and most recently added, boba, which is my personal favorite. You can sit down and eat food while doing your homework or waiting for classes, while looking at our nice view of our Hackensack River.

Yammani: So behind me is our campus library. And besides having three floors full of resources and knowledge, it's actually the home of our Career Development Center. Here, our advisors can come with job opportunities, internships, help you with your LinkedIn profiles and resumes. I personally love this for the study rooms. I come in here with my friends, lock in for the semester as midterm season comes. I hope to see you there too!

Lizet: We are now outside of Becton Hall, which is home to our engineering labs. On this campus, we have mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering. We also have our computer labs on each floor, which has free printing, colored and black-and-white. And outside, you can find what's called our blue light system. Any case of an emergency, you would press the button and it would contact Teaneck Police, Hackensack Police, and Public Safety. And I forgot to mention that behind of Becton Hall, we have what's called our elevated green roof garden, where you can come here to chill with friends, do your homework, or get your tan on.

Yammani: This cozy little building behind me is the Student Counseling & Psychological Services, S-CAPS. Regardless of your insurance, you can come here if you have any mental health needs, test anxiety, or even just taking events such as mindfulness, yoga, and more. There's a team of professional counselors here, and you can just schedule an appointment virtually or in person. FDU takes mental health very seriously.

Yammani: So this is University Courts, and it's actually our second residence option here on campus. If you're a first-year student, then you might have the chance to dorm here if you're in the Honors Program or the Global Scholars Program. If not, it's kind of for the upperclassmen.

Yammani: So this is Public Safety. On your first day of classes or on your move-in day, here you'll come and get your ID card. This is essential for dorming, your dining options, library, fitness center, basically it's your life. And you can also come in here and get your parking pass. So parking here at FDU is completely free, and you'll see that there's tons of parking here.

Yammani: I'm currently in the Student Union Building, AKA the SUB. On our bottom floor, we have the mailroom. On our main level, we have the Office of Student Life, which oversees all of our clubs and organizations here on campus. We also have the nightclub, the Student Wellness Center, as well as the information desk. And on the level above, we have The Dish, which is our last dining option here on campus, and it's more of a traditional buffet style of dining.

Lizet: We are currently outside of the Linden, which is our third and final housing option here on campus. It is reserved for the freshmen and is a suite style of living, meaning there are three rooms per suite, a lounge area, and a bathroom that all the suite members share. Suites are same-sex and floors are co-ed. Each building will have a laundry room, a lounge area, and free daily cleaning services.

Lizet: We are currently inside of the Fitness Center, where you can find our intramural sports. If you don't want to play for our Division I athletics here at Metro, you can play for our intramural sports, where they have tournaments every semester. You can also find here our weight room, our cardio room, and our aerobics room.

Lizet: We are currently inside of the Commuter Lounge, where there are various vending machines, games, and seating options. You can sit here in between classes to do your homework, or you can just chill out here with your friends. You don't have to be a commuter to enter in—anybody is welcome.
